Browsing data and hosting

Hostinger provides the hosting and content delivery network. Its systems process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, including IP address, requested resource, date and time, browser/device information and response codes. Hosting logs and dashboard statistics are used to operate the site, examine traffic and diagnose errors, on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest in a secure, functioning portfolio.

Log availability and retention depend on the hosting service settings. Technical records are retained for the period necessary for these purposes, subject to applicable security and legal requirements. Contact the controller for details of the current configuration. See Hostinger’s privacy policy.

Email contact

If you email the address shown on the site, your address and the information you choose to provide are used to answer the request and, where relevant, discuss a professional engagement. The basis is responding to your request and taking steps before a possible contract. Correspondence is retained for the time necessary to handle the conversation and any ensuing relationship or legal obligations. No newsletter subscription is created.

Camera and motion interaction

The Thesis simulation can optionally use a camera on desktop or motion/orientation sensors on compatible mobile devices. Activation requires your action and any permission required by the browser. Video frames and movement data are processed locally in the browser for the interaction; this website’s code does not upload or record the camera stream on the server. Hand landmarks are used in memory to control the simulation, not to identify you.

You can continue with automatic movement instead. The camera is stopped when leaving the interaction/page, and access can also be revoked in browser settings. Refusing permission does not prevent reading the portfolio.

Fonts and external links

Adobe Fonts is contacted to deliver the typeface. Adobe receives the IP address necessary to send the files and font-service information. Its documentation states that the font-delivery service does not set cookies and does not store that IP address. See Adobe Fonts’ privacy information. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn or other external projects lead to independent services governed by their respective policies.

Cookies, local storage and statistics

The portfolio uses technical browser storage to remember language and navigation/scroll state. Necessary session tools may also be used for protected CMS access. The website does not add advertising or profiling cookies. No Google Analytics or other client-side visitor-tracking service has been added with this update. Hosting statistics are provided by Hostinger’s server/dashboard tools; requests and IP counts are not necessarily counts of individual people.

These technical mechanisms can be removed through browser settings. Some preferences or the CMS login may then be lost. The camera permission is separate from cookie preferences.

Recipients, transfers and your rights

Data may be processed by the hosting and font providers within their respective services. Where processing involves countries outside the European Economic Area, the providers’ applicable transfer safeguards and privacy terms apply. No video stream is transferred by the simulation described above.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw an optional browser permission at any time and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including the Italian data protection authority.
